Dyer Technology News

This year we have some new and exciting ways to share information with you about what is happening in our classrooms. We have started a Dyer Technology Blog where within the next few weeks you can view student work and provide positive feedback to the children. Our blog is protected so that all student work and comments must be approved by a moderator, Mrs. Richards, before published. This is a safe place for us to celebrate learning and provide positive feedback. Simply click on “comments” under each post and type in your name, anti-spam word, and comment. Do not type in anything in the boxes for email address or URI label.

You can get to the Dyer Technology Blog two different ways. The first is to go to Dyer website and click on the Technology link on the left hand side. Then click on Mrs. Richards’ Website and click on the link to Dyer Technology Blog. Another way is to simply go right to the blog at: http://dyertechnology.edublogs.org. Below are the guidelines for posting comments:

Parents, students and teachers are encouraged to use this blog to share and comment on technology projects students create at Dyer School.

  • Only give your first name.  Do not use your last name.
  • Students names and actual photographs will never be used together to ensure privacy.
  • Be polite and respectful.
  • Use correct spelling and punctuation.
  • Provide positive feedback that is specific and gives examples if possible.
  • Ask questions to help you further understand the topic or push students to learn more.
Please feel free to email Mrs. Richards at richarma@spsd.org if you have any questions regarding the Dyer Technology Blog.
