Welcome Volunteers!
|
At the South Portland Schools we welcome our parent and community volunteers! There are many ways you can be involved. As the safety and security of our students and staff is of utmost importance, we ask that before you begin volunteering, you fill out the volunteer application form (please fill out a new one every year). We also ask that you participate in a Volunteer Orientation that addresses the issues of confidentiality, safety and security, emergency precautions, school expectations and procedural guidelines. (This needs to be attended only once.) We also want to make sure that you find a volunteer activity that is mutually rewarding for you and the students!
Information and applications are available in the main office. And if you have any questions about volunteering, please contact: Molly Aldrich, Director of Volunteer Services South Portland School Department 773-5629, ext. 432 AldricMo@spsd.org
